Chris Thimer

Chris Thimer currently serves as an Instructor at Georgian College since July 2024 and has held various managerial roles at Trotman Auto Group since July 2020, including Fixed Operations Manager and Service Manager. Previously, Chris was the Special Finance Manager at Abbotsford Volkswagen and the Director of Fixed Operations across multiple Volkswagen locations from January 2013 to January 2020. Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in the automotive service industry, including developing training programs, managing marketing initiatives, and implementing systems for tracking shop capacity which have been adopted by numerous stores. Chris's earlier experience includes positions as Service Manager at Maple Ridge Chrysler and Fleet Service Manager at Crosstown Auto Centre, showcasing a consistent trajectory of leadership and innovation in automotive services since starting in the industry in 1996. Chris holds an Automotive Business Management degree from Georgian College.
