Kristof van Hootegem

Kristof Van Hootegem is an experienced operational excellence leader currently working at Trouw Nutrition as the Operational Excellence Lead for the Benelux region, where Kristof is implementing various projects aimed at workplace optimization and driving significant operational savings. Previously, Kristof worked at Nuscience, holding roles including Operational Excellence Manager and CAPEX Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating CAPEX strategies across multiple EMEA sites and leading restructuring projects. Other key positions include Operations Director LATAM ad Interim, where Kristof oversaw significant CAPEX strategies and developed operational programs in Brazil, and International Project Manager, responsible for implementing Laboratory Information Management Systems across European subsidiaries. Kristof’s earlier experience encompassed optimization and quality management roles in the pet food and animal feed sectors. Academically, Kristof holds an MBA in Strategy from HEC Paris, alongside advanced degrees in Conflict & Development and Agricultural Sciences from Ghent University.
