Charlotte Kleyn

Charlotte Kleyn serves as a culinary historian and journalist, with extensive experience in writing and research focused on food history. Since 2017, Charlotte has operated Charlotte Kleyn Eten - Schrijven - Geschiedenis, contributing weekly columns and articles to Trouw, Het Parool, and Geschiedenis Magazine. Additional roles include columnist for Trouw, culinary journalist for Het Parool, and curator of the History of Food Collection at Allard Pierson. Previous positions also include culinary editor for Archeologie Magazine and various editorial roles across multiple platforms. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and French from the University of Amsterdam, alongside master's degrees in Food History from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université de Tours.
