Matthijs van Dam

Matthijs van Dam is an accomplished investigative reporter specializing in sports, currently working at Trouw since March 2022, where notable achievements include winning the De Loep/Dutch-Flemish Investigative Journalism Award in 2024 and the Dutch Sports Press Prize in 2023 for impactful articles on labor conditions in Qatar.
