Somajeh Ghaeminia

Somajeh Ghaeminia is a seasoned journalist currently working at Trouw since July 2022, with a diverse background in journalism, project management, and leadership in equality and inclusion. Prior roles include Country Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Leader for IKEA Netherlands and Project Lead for the Refugee Skills for Employment Program. Somajeh has also served as a Project Manager at NS, focusing on management development programs, and held a stakeholder liaison position at Stichting voor Vluchteling-Studenten UAF, where the UAF Support Scan was initiated. Earlier freelance work involved detailed reporting and storytelling, alongside moderating a professional network for individuals with refugee backgrounds at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland.
