Jingming Li

Jingming Li has worked in a variety of roles since 1996. Jingming began their career at Netscape Communications as a Principal Consultant, helping to develop eCommerce sites for some of the World's most recognized brands. In 2001, they joined Sun Microsystems as Chief Technologist, Java Enterprise Software Services, where they were instrumental in helping transform SUN from hardware seller to enterprise solutions provider. In 2009, they joined Alibaba Group as Group VP & Chief Technology Officer, AliPay/Ant, and successfully transformed Alipay from a fragile technology startup into one of the World's most valuable fintech companies. Jingming then moved to Ant Group in 2013, where they held the roles of Group VP, Founding President of AliPay US, and Ant Global Chief Architect. In 2016, they joined HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management as Managing Director & Global CIO, and was responsible for overall technical aspects of HSBC global retail banking systems. Finally, in 2019, they founded Trova Technologies, Inc., where they serve as the CEO of TrovaPage.com, an all-in-one technology platform with live-streaming, payment, and social connections.

Jingming Li has a Master of Engineering from Carleton University in the field of Aerospace and a Bachelor of Engineering from Beihang University in the field of Engineering.
