Chamila Wijayarathna Diwelwatta Gamage

Chamila Wijayarathna Diwelwatta Gamage has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2012. From 2012-2013, Gamage served as a Student Representative for the Computer Science and Engineering Society, and as Treasurer and Webmaster for the University of Moratuwa ACM Student Chapter from 2013-2015. From 2015-2017, Gamage was a Software Engineer at WSO2, and from 2017-2020, Gamage was a Researcher PHD Student at CSIRO's Data61 and a Casual Academic at UNSW. In 2020, Gamage was a Research Associate (Casual) at both the University of Adelaide and UNSW Canberra. Finally, since 2021, Gamage has been a Senior Associate/Junior Java Engineer at Macquarie Group and a Sessional Lecturer at La Trobe University.

Chamila Wijayarathna Diwelwatta Gamage has an extensive educational background. Chamila Wijayarathna completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Usable Security and Privacy from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their B. Sc. (Hons.) Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka from 2010 to 2014. Chamila Wijayarathna also obtained their University Entrance from Mahinda College, Galle, Sri Lanka from 1996 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as DevSecOps Fundamentals from Cybrary in 2021, ICSI | CNSS Certified Network Security Specialist from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in 2020, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
