Arun Nagratha

Arun (Ernie) Nagratha knows a thing or two about turning opportunity into business. Ten years ago while working as a Finance Manager in Australia, Ernie experienced first hand what it was like to be an expat living abroad and saw a need for an expat tax advisor service. Ernie is now a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, specializing in expatriate taxation as it relates to Canadians living and working around the world.

Ernie joined Trowbridge Professional Corporation shortly after its inception in 2002 to build the expatriate tax services practice. He has completed levels I and II of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Taxation Program and is a current member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Ernie graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto.

Ernie is happiest when combining his love for business and people. Whether it’s breaking down the complexity of the tax terrain into simple terms for his clients or staff, his charismatic energy makes even tax seem interesting.
