Santosh Prasad

Santosh Prasad has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate tax services. Santosh is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Tax Services at Trowbridge Professional Corporation since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Corporate Tax Services at the same company from September 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Trowbridge, Santosh worked for Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from July 2012 to August 2019. During their time there, they served as a CPA In-depth Tax Courses Groupstudy Leader and In-residence Tutor.

Santosh also had a brief stint as a Manager of Accounting and Tax at Ilavsky Chartered Accountants from March 2019 to July 2019.

From September 2017 to February 2019, Santosh worked as a Senior Manager of Canadian Corporate Tax at MNP.

Prior to that, they were employed by PwC Canada as a Senior Manager of Tax - Financial Services from July 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they were a member of the Tax executive team and played a key role in the tax audit of Big 6 bank RBC.

Santosh also gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young LLP, where they served as a Senior Manager of Tax - Financial Services from October 2000 to July 2015. During their time there, they contributed to the tax audit of Big 6 bank CIBC and oversaw the completion of SOX reporting requirements.

Additionally, Santosh has served as a Tax Seminar Instructor at the Ontario School of Accountancy, affiliated with Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), from June 2012 to June 2014.

Santosh'searly career included an analyst role at TD Bank from May 1997 to July 2000.

Santosh Prasad obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Business from Ivey Business School at Western University between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and received a diploma from Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute from 1989 to 1993.
