Surafel Hailu

Surafel Hailu is an experienced SQL/Power BI Developer with a strong background in data modeling, analytics, and cloud services. At T. Rowe Price since September 2023, Surafel has built and maintained data models within Power BI, developing complex DAX calculations to enhance decision-making processes. Prior to this role, Surafel worked at AXIS Capital from May 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included deploying Azure Cloud Services and designing platforms for database access. Experience at SERCO as an MSBI/SQL Developer involved data modeling and creating SSIS packages, while a foundational role at Fannie Mae as a Junior SQL/BI Developer focused on developing T-SQL code and generating reports. Surafel holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of the District of Columbia.
