Leonhard Nitschmann's work experience began in 2004 as an intern for International Transport and Automotive Logistics at Schenker Deutschland AG. Leonhard then interned for automobile logistics at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Inc. USA in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a student consultant at STEP Stadtentsorgung Potsdam and as a student employee in the Strategic Purchasing Department at Siemens. In 2008, they worked as an intern in the Practice for Trade & Logistics at CSB-System AG and as a student employee in the Project Management Office at Skandia Versicherung Management & Service GmbH. Leonhard also worked as a Graduand for Infrastructure- und Material Flow at Volkswagen AG. From 2009 to 2015, Nitschmann held various roles at Volkswagen AG, including Processplaner, Project Leader for International Projects, and Inhouse Consultant Planning- and Productionsystem Powertrain - eMobility. Leonhard joined GEDORE GmbH in 2018 as the Head of Global Industrial Engineering, and in 2020, they joined TROX GmbH as the International Plant Manager and Project Manager, Head of Operational Excellence. Leonhard currently holds the position of Head of Production International and Head of TROXellence at TROX GmbH.
Leonhard Nitschmann's education history includes three educational experiences. In 2004, they enrolled at UAS Wildau and completed their studies in 2009, earning a diploma in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Logistics. In 2018, Nitschmann attended the Hasso Plattner Institute for a short period to pursue a Design Thinking Track. Currently, Nitschmann is pursuing Executive Education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), starting in 2019.
