Jill Krysinski

Middle School Science Teacher at Troy Community Consolidated School District

Jill Krysinski is an accomplished education professional currently serving as the Education STEAM Program Director at After the Peanut since April 2021, where Jill manages a curriculum writing team and coordinates field trips for summer camps. Additionally, Krysinski has been a Middle School Science Teacher with the Troy Community Consolidated School District since August 2019. A Golden Apple Fellow since 2013, Krysinski has contributed significantly to both education and environmental science, evidenced by a merit award for initiating a brownfield redevelopment program at Bloom High School, where Krysinski taught biology and environmental science from 2003 to 2018. With experience as a STEM Implementation Specialist and adjunct faculty at Governors State University, Krysinski's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Education from the University of St. Francis and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Augustana College.

Troy Community Consolidated School District 30-C is located in Will County. The district was founded in 1949 and includes portions of Joliet, Shorewood, Channahon, Crest Hill, and unincorporated Troy Township. This Pre-K through Grade 8 school district currently consists of five elementary schools (grades Pre-K through 4th grade), one intermediate school (5th and 6th grades), and one middle school (7th and 8th grades).
