John Watson

John Watson has extensive experience in the field of telecommunications and calibration technology. Currently serving as an Application Engineer and previously as a Calibration Technician 2 at TRS-RenTelco since July 2016, John specializes in calibrating precision test equipment used for industry training and field applications. Prior to this, John held roles in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Observer Coach Trainer and served in the US Army from February 2006 to April 2016 as a Senior Satellite Network Controller and Satellite Controller, where responsibilities included managing teams and monitoring communications over Military WGS and DSCS satellites, specifically focusing on X-band and Ka-band communications.
