Annisa Omar

Annisa Omar is an experienced producer currently working at TRT World since November 2017, where responsibilities include creating weekly shows, pitching stories, and managing research and graphics. Previously, Annisa served as Acting Executive Producer for the ‘Roundtable’ program, overseeing editorial content and managing a team of seven producers. Prior experience includes roles at Islam Channel as Senior Producer and Presenter, and at Ben TV as Producer and Presenter, with a focus on youth affairs. Additional experience encompasses communication management at Adeso, research at Al Jazeera Media Network, and consultancy in communication and research. Annisa's educational background includes a BA in History and Development Studies from SOAS University of London and an MSc in Marketing from Birkbeck, University of London.
