IT Support Specialist at TruAdvantage

Alex Surber has been working in IT support for the past few years, starting at UC Davis. In their previous role as Computer Resource Specialist II, they provided excellent remote and on-site support to over 1500 staff and 1700 computers. Their regular support involved remote and on-site troubleshooting of incoming tickets via phone and email, imaging and deploying computers, and creating knowledge base articles for resolved issues. Their lead duties included making sure tickets were in progress, resolving escalated issues, training new students, creating and scheduling shifts around classes, scheduling regular E-Waste events, and streamlining regular processes. They worked closely with the sysadmin to implement GPO changes, wrote scripts for metrics reporting, automate imaging process.

Currently, Alex Surber works as an IT Support Specialist at TruAdvantage. In this role, they provide excellent IT support to the company's employees. They are skilled in troubleshooting various IT issues, imaging and deploying computers, and working with AD Security groups.

Alex Surber has a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis. They also have certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and from CompTIA as a CompTIA Security+.
