Austen Mount has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industry. Austen is currently working at TruAmerica Multifamily as the Director of Portfolio Management since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Lionstone Investments as a Summer Acquisitions Associate in 2019. Austen also had an internship at TruAmerica Multifamily as an Investments Intern from January to May 2019. Austen has prior experience as a Finance Manager at The New Home Company Inc. from December 2015 to June 2018. Austen also worked as a Senior Audit Consultant at BDO USA, LLP in 2015 and as a Senior Audit Associate at Green Hasson Janks from October 2011 to June 2014.
Austen Mount obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Real Estate Finance and Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Prior to that, they attended Saint Mary's College of California, where they studied Business Administration and Management, but did not earn a degree. Austen also completed their undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, majoring in Business Economics with an emphasis on Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Austen Mount holds certifications in ARGUS Enterprise Software from the Altus Group and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the California Board of Accountancy.
