Louie Colon is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in multifamily and property accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at TruAmerica Multifamily since September 2021, Louie conducts monthly financial reviews and calculates cash flows for a portfolio of 17 properties. Prior to this, Louie held positions at RSM as a Senior Fund Accountant, where financial reports were reviewed and key concerns regarding capital improvements and bad debt during COVID-19 were addressed. Previous roles include Senior Property Accountant at Kennedy Wilson, Property Accountant at Nightingale Properties, and various accounting positions at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, Brixmor Property Group, and Grand Concourse Chiropractic. Louie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta between 2000 and 2004.
