Dris Upitis is a seasoned investment professional and the Head of Ocho Capital and Ocho Investments, a family office dedicated to strategic investments in public stocks, distressed assets, and private businesses. In addition, Dris co-founded and served as Executive Director for the Atlas Project, a nonprofit organization focused on personal growth and self-awareness training from 2017 to 2023. Dris holds an MBA with High Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA with Honors in Economics from Grinnell College. They currently serve on the boards of several companies, including TruBridge, Lamp Post Franchisee, Coalition Foods, and Picket Homes, while also pursuing the role of Founder and CEO at Ocho Golf, aimed at developing an exceptional golf resort.
