Muhammad Sarmad Farooq

Muhammad Sarmad Farooq has a diverse work experience. Muhammad Sarmad is currently the Co-Founder of Truck It In, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they held several roles at Careem, starting in 2016. These roles included Head of Commercial - Last Mile Delivery, Head of Global Expansion - Careem NOW, Head of Fleet Ventures, and Manager- Operations. Before joining Careem, they were the Founder of Dasti Sawari from 2015.

Muhammad Sarmad Farooq obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials and Manufacturing from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology between 2011 and 2015. Muhammad Sarmad also holds certifications from IQCS Certification for ISO 9001:2015 QMS Auditor/ Lead Auditor and from SINGAPORE QUALITY INSTITUTE for Six Sigma Black Belt.
