Michael Salmon

Michael Salmon is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and consulting, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Truckee Donner Public Utility District since April 2020. As President of Salmon Consulting Services since December 2007, Michael specializes in finance and accounting consulting for the hospitality and resort industry. Previous roles include Director of Finance and Accounting at Tahoe Donner Association and Corporate Controller positions at Booth Creek Ski Holdings, Inc. and Booth Creek Resorts. Early career experience includes serving as Controller at Northstar at Tahoe and Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand. Michael holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University, completed between 1983 and 1988.
