John Zimmerman

John Zimmerman has extensive experience in water management and law, currently serving as General Manager at Truckee Meadows Water Authority since March 2016, with prior roles as Assistant General Manager and Water Resources Manager. Previously, John was a Lawyer at Parsons, Behle & Latimer from September 2006 to March 2016 and worked as a Law Clerk to Judge David R. Gamble at Douglas County from August 2005 to August 2006. John's early career included a position as a Wildland Firefighter at the Bureau of Land Management from July 1998 to August 1999. John holds a JD from the William S. Boyd School of Law, a Master's Degree in Resource and Applied Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics, all from universities in Nevada.
