Daniel Shay

Daniel Shay has a strong background in software engineering and has worked at multiple companies throughout their career. Daniel began their career in 2002 at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. as a Software Engineer, where they supported spacecraft hardware and software tests. During this time, they developed C/C++ applications and various application level tools to support expedited test and analysis. Daniel stayed at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. for 16 years before moving on to LGS Innovations in 2018, where they worked as a Software Engineer for six months. In 2019, Daniel joined CACI International Inc, where they worked as a Staff Embedded Software Engineer for three years. Currently, they work at True Anomaly as a Lead Flight Software Engineer, starting in October 2022.

Daniel Shay began their education at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2000 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2004. Daniel later pursued a Software Engineering Certificate in the same field of study at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained the Google Cloud Foundations certification from LinkedIn in February 2022, as well as the Linux Performance Tuning certification from LinkedIn in the same month and year.
