Divyendu Shekhar

Divyendu Shekhar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Divyendu is currently working at Balancehero India as the Head of Business Development and Lender Partnerships. Prior to this, they served as the Business Head of Capital Markets and Insurance at CARS24.

Before joining CARS24, Divyendu worked at Indifi as the Director of Product Management. In this role, they were responsible for leading product development and management, as well as deploying new customer-facing products across various segments. Additionally, they managed the P&L for the E-commerce Sellers and SME retailers segments, achieving a growth of 7X in two years.

Divyendu also held the position of Vice President at Mavin, Inc. and worked at American Express as the Head of Online & Digital Business and AVP of Business Development. Prior to that, they co-founded Retail Analytics Pvt. Ltd and served as the COO, leading the company to generate revenue of over 2 million USD within a three-year period.

Their career began at GE, where they worked as an Assistant Manager in Corporate Finance. Overall, Divyendu has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving growth and success in various industries and roles.

Divyendu Shekhar pursued their education in a chronological order. Divyendu started their education by attending Pitts from 1997 to 1999, where they completed their Senior Secondary education with a focus on Science. Divyendu then proceeded to enroll at Delhi University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics. Continuing their academic journey, Divyendu Shekhar attended Symbiosis International University from 2005 to 2007 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in General Management.
