Ron Ursem

Ron Ursem has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ron began their career as a Systems Administrator at Shared Pool Consultancy in 2001, where they worked as an AS400 engineer trainee and later moved into a role as a desktop support engineer. In 2003, they joined Taxi Zeevang as a Systems Administrator, managing windows workspaces, servers, and a route and fare planning server. After two years, they moved to Cyso in 2005, where they worked as a Systems and Network Administrator, managing a VMWare cluster with over 50 ESX hosts and 600+ VMs. Ron attained the VMWare Certified Professional 3.5 to 5.1 during their time at Cyso. In 2013, they joined True B.V., initially as a Senior Support Engineer, responsible for managing over 3000 managed servers, both hardware and virtual, predominantly based on Ubuntu. Ron'stasks included building new server machines, creating clusters, and developing Ansible roles. Recently, in 2022, they transitioned into the role of Senior DevOps Engineer at True B.V.
