Ruud Boekenoogen

Ruud Boekenoogen has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Ruud started their career in 1998 at De Telegraaf, where they worked as a Second Line Support specialist, troubleshooting and installing NT4.0 servers and workstations. After that, they worked at various companies, including Mainland Sequoia, IDM Bank, and Pink Roccade, in roles such as System Administrator and Help Desk Support Specialist.

In 2001, Ruud joined KPN MOBILE THE NETHERLANDS BV as a Second Line Support technician. Later that year, they moved to Secon Group, where they held the role of System Administrator and Network Administrator. There, they managed the NT 4.0 server environment and implemented network components, including Watchguard firewalls.

From 2005 to 2020, Ruud worked at G-Star RAW as a System Administrator. Ruud was responsible for managing over 500 Windows servers running on VMWARE and in the Azure cloud. Ruud also handled network components, including Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall clusters in combination with Brocade switches/routers.

In 2021, Ruud worked at United4all as a Network Security Engineer, where they were responsible for managing network and security of network components such as Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall clusters and Brocade switches/routers.

Currently, Ruud works at True B.V. as a Windows webhosting engineer, a role they started in 2021.

Throughout their career, Ruud has gained experience in various areas, including system administration, network administration, firewall management, and security.

Ruud Boekenoogen attended Augustinus College Amsterdam from an unknown start year until 1993. Ruud obtained their High School Diploma, specializing in VWO. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued further education at HEAO coöperatief onderwijs hogeschool Utrecht, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
