Lauren Ansley

Lauren Ansley is a Director at True Partners Consulting, based out of Atlanta, Georgia. She started her career with True Partners Consulting in 2010 in the Tampa, Florida office. After spending more than six years working with the firm in Tampa, Lauren took a position as a manager of International Tax at Deloitte Tax LLP in Tampa, Florida. Lauren recently rejoined True Partners Consulting in October 2017 as a senior manager in the newly created Atlanta practice.

Lauren has experience in a variety of industries, including the restaurant, consumer lending, travel reservation, technology, and telecommunications industries. She has experience in both federal and international taxation for large, multinational clients. During her time at True Partners, Lauren developed a broad understanding of federal and international taxation issues and their impact on the income tax provision and compliance reporting for her clients. During her time with Deloitte, she specialized in international taxation with a focus on income tax compliance and consulting.

During her career, Lauren has worked on a variety of compliance and consulting engagements with a focus on both U.S. federal and international taxation. She has experience with the analysis and calculation of Subpart F income inclusions, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, IRC §78 tax pools, CFC interest netting, and repatriation scenarios. Lauren has participated in a number of U.S. income tax reporting engagements, including the preparation of domestic consolidated corporation, S-Corporation, and partnership federal income tax returns. In addition, she has significant experience with the preparation and review of international tax informational reporting on Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118. Lauren has worked to prepare and review the domestic and international income tax provision calculations for large companies; this experiences includes the analysis and calculation of the deferred income tax assets and liabilities for foreign subsidiaries of U.S. multinational companies.

Lauren graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, as well as a Masters of Accounting degree in Taxation. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, and she is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
