Cindy (Ru) began their career as an Accounting & Financial Planning Manager at Motorola China Ltd in 1994 and later moved on to roles such as Operation Controller and Corporate Internal Control and SOX Manager at Motorola Mobility. At Motorola TianJin Manufacturing, they served as the Finance Director, overseeing finance activities for a large-scale manufacturing operation.

Cindy (Ru) then joined Alcoa (China) Investment Company Ltd as the VP of Finance for Alcoa Asia Pacific.
