Cristian Cosan

Cristian Cosan is a seasoned professional in energy trading with extensive experience in gas and power markets. Currently serving as a Senior Trader at Open Energy Market since July 2022, Cristian previously held roles as an Energy Trader at Accenture and Power Trader at EDP Renewables. Cristian's career began in wind energy, managing dispatch operations at Eol-Facility Wind Farm Dispatch Center and serving as a Shift Operator at Alpiq. Additional experience includes site management at Ghermanesti 20MW Wind Farm and internships focusing on protective relay installation and SCADA system implementation. Cristian holds an International Banking Certification from the Romanian Banking Institute and an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Power Transmission Installers from the Technical University of Iasi. Educational background also includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colegiul National Costache Negruzzi.
