Anil Gupta

Anil Gupta is an experienced Data Architect and Technical Lead at TrueCar, Inc. since September 2014, specializing in backend development for a car buying platform using a BigData stack. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Intuit, where Anil led BigData projects and conducted POCs with Hadoop/HBase, and Software Engineer at CityGrid Media, focusing on data ingestion from multiple providers. Anil began an academic journey with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, emphasizing databases and data-intensive computing, after obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science. Notable projects include developing a Netflix movie recommendation Facebook application and a summer internship as a Junior Data Analyst for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, focusing on ETL processing and analytical reporting.
