Guillaume de Chambrier

Guillaume de Chambrier has over 10 years of work experience in the fields of machine learning and robotics. Guillaume started their career in 2010 as a Master student at The University of Edinburgh. In 2011, they joined EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they gave lectures on Reinforcement Learning and covered both standard and state of the art ML methods. Guillaume also completed a PhD in Learning Algorithms and System Laboratory (LASA) in learning POMDP policies from human demonstrations. In 2016, they moved to CHUV | Lausanne university hospital as a Research Scientist. Guillaume then worked as an AI Research Engineer at Accelerated Dynamics in 2017. In 2018, they joined Ocado Technology as a Team Lead - Senior Robotic Researcher and is currently working as an ML & Robotics Lead at TrueCircle since 2021.

Guillaume de Chambrier received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in Robotics and Machine Learning from 2012 to 2016. Guillaume also obtained their Master of Informatics from The University of Edinburgh in AI from 2006 to 2011, and their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universität des Saarlandes from 2008 to 2009.
