Rachel Arendse

Rachel Arendse has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rachel is currently working as a Senior Director of Finance at Truehold since April 2023. Before that, they worked at AvantStay as a Senior Director of Strategic Finance from February 2023 to April 2023, and as a Director of Strategic Finance from January 2022 to February 2023. Prior to AvantStay, Rachel was a Senior Manager of Property FP+A at Common from January 2020 to December 2021. Rachel also worked as part of the Strategic Finance & Analytics team at WeWork from August 2018 to December 2019. In the earlier part of their career, Rachel held roles at AvalonBay Communities, where they were a Community Manager from December 2016 to August 2018, a Community Supervisor from September 2015 to November 2016, and a Sales and Service Analyst from February 2013 to August 2015. Rachel also worked as an Operations Analyst at Archstone from June 2012 to February 2013 and as a Property Operations Intern at Archstone from June 2011 to August 2011. Rachel's early experience includes being a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2010 to 2011.

Rachel Arendse completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Marketing at McGill University from 2005 to 2009. After that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, from 2010 to 2013.
