Kris Black

Kris Black is a seasoned UI/UX visual designer and front-end developer currently at True Matter, LLC since February 2015, collaborating with clients in sectors such as healthcare, finance, and commercial real estate on various digital products. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Designer & Web Developer at AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, leading a team in crafting UI products, and working as a Front-End Web Developer & UI Designer at SCANA Corporation on multifaceted projects. Kris has authored two books on the Squarespace platform and held roles at Squarespace providing expert support and contributing to early product development. Previous experience includes directing art and photography at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Kris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio with a focus on Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina.
