James Gartelos

James Gartelos has over two decades of experience in the insurance and claims management industry. Currently serving as the Director of Claims at TrueNorth Companies, L.C. since May 2018, James has held various roles including Risk Management Claims Team Leader and Senior Claims Advocate. Prior experience includes positions at UFG Insurance as Claims Supervisor and Senior Field Claims Representative, and at Northland Insurance Group as Technical Specialist. James began a career in insurance as a Claims Representative at Cincinnati Financial Corporation, with additional experience at other firms like Crawford & Company and Selective Insurance. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, earned between 1992 and 1997.
