Thiago Strava Corrêa

Thiago Strava Corrêa has worked in a variety of roles in the data science and business analysis fields. In 2012, they began their career as a Project Finance Internship at Itaú BBA. In 2015, they became a Teacher Assistant at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2017, they were a Data Scientist at Itaú. In 2018, they held the role of Data Scientist at Big Data Brasil, where they led a team of data scientists and helped the development of younger analysts. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at McKinsey & Company, where they built trading recommendation engines for agro business, optimized CRM campaigns for Telco, Retail and Financial companies, and constructed cloud based analytical solutions. Currently, they are a Data Scientist / Business Analyst at Tino.

Thiago Strava Corrêa completed an Undergraduation in Economics at USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2009 and 2013. Thiago then went on to pursue a Mestrado Acadêmico in Economics at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2015 to 2017. Thiago has also obtained additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Training Online, including AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty in September 2022, Google Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader in September 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in March 2022, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in November 2021.
