As Truepoint’s Founder and CEO, Michael has been committed to client-focused financial advising for decades, advocating for a better way to provide comprehensive financial advice—one driven by the clients’ needs and goals, rather than the advisor’s bottom line. He was part of the vanguard that first championed fee-only wealth management services instead of the system of commissions and kickbacks that were once the norm. In 1990, he started Truepoint in order to transform the wealth management industry through innovative, data-driven investment strategies, a positive team culture, and a relentless pursuit of exceptional client service. Since then, Truepoint has garnered many awards and accolades, both in local and national publications. As a member of Truepoint’s management team, Michael’s vision continues to guide the firm’s strategic planning.

Michael loves staying active and thrives on friendly competition. He channels this energy into his Peloton bike, as well as the golf course. In his downtime, he enjoys relaxing with his three children, and he devotes a great deal of his time to various philanthropic organizations.
