Marc Thompson Jr.

Marc Thompson Jr. is the current Director at TruFund Financial Services. Prior to their current position, Marc was a Credit Underwriter at Capify from June 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for research businesses for funding, underwriting and approving Merchant Cash Advances and Business Loans, assessing risk for businesses, and conducting merchant interviews.

Before their time at Capify, Marc worked as a Risk Analyst at Swift Collect, LLC from April 2015 to June 2015. In this role they were responsible for filing UCCs and PPSAs, ordering mystery shoppers and site inspections, reporting merchants to the credit bureau, negotiating payment programs with delinquent customers, initiating credits and adjustments to customer accounts, and overseeing the collection efforts of $30 million in receivable balances for three different subsidiary companies.

Marc Thompson Jr. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Midwestern State University. Marc also has an Associate’s Degree in Economics, Law, Visual Art from Antigua State College. Marc Thompson Jr. is also certified from New York State in Series 6 license.
