Alexis Thompson

Alexis Thompson has extensive experience in risk management and enterprise issues across various leadership roles at Truist since January 2016. As the Head of Enterprise Issues Management, Alexis oversees the design and implementation of the Enterprise Issues Management program and serves as a subject matter expert. Previously, Alexis defined the Enterprise Risk Policy and Framework and developed risk programs as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management Programs and Framework. In prior roles, Alexis led strategic initiatives for Consumer Finance and Payments and served as a Business Unit Risk Management Champion, enhancing risk practices across Truist. Before joining Truist, Alexis worked at BB&T as a Commercial Lending Project Manager and a Commercial Risk Rating Officer, where significant projects included the implementation of Moody's Risk Origins. Alexis holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from North Carolina State University.
