Banu Venkat is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in payment technology, risk and audit technology, and digital transformation. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Payment Technology at Truist, Banu has held significant roles including Senior Vice President for Risk & Audit Technology focused on Financial Crimes and Fraud. Prior experience includes serving as Digital Transformation Executive and Executive Director at TIAA, as well as leading Consumer Banking Technology as Senior Director. Banu held the Principal position at NorthHighland and was also the International Banking Technology Executive at Ally Financial Inc. Banu's career began at IBM/BCS as a Senior Manager. Banu holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business and has an education background from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
