Greg Cavinder is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and analytics. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Model Development Operations at Truist since 2020, Greg oversees the implementation of credit risk models and quality assurance processes. Prior to this role, Greg held various senior leadership positions at SunTrust from 1999 to 2019, including SVP of Wholesale Analytics and SVP of Wholesale Data Engineering, where responsibilities included leading analytic programs and developing strategic data assets. Greg holds an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from Georgia Tech and dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in International Finance and Finance from the University of Georgia.
