Ken Mills

Ken Mills serves as the Consumer Lending Governance & Controls Officer/Risk Advisor and SVP at Truist, a position held since 2022. Prior roles at Truist included Correspondent Lending Counterparty Risk/Policy Manager and Quality Assurance SVP. Ken's extensive experience in risk management within the banking industry spans over three decades, including positions at BB&T, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, and NationsBank. Notable achievements involve developing policies for retail quality assurance, managing QA teams, and evaluating credit risk strategies. Ken holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ken also served in the US Army, achieving the rank of Specialist E4 in the 82nd Airborne Division.
