Nikhil Gupta

Nikhil Gupta serves as the Head of Market Risk & Corporate Product Control at Truist since December 2021, overseeing enterprise-wide market risk exposures including interest rate risk in the banking book, capital markets trading, compliance with various market risk regulations, counterparty credit risk analytics, mortgage servicing rights, and independent price verification. Prior to this role, Nikhil held positions at Truist as Head of Trading & Mortgage Market Risk and at SunTrust as SVP and VP of Trading Market Risk. Previous experience includes a senior risk analyst role at Fannie Mae, a risk analyst role at the International Finance Corporation, and a treasury risk analyst position at Intelsat. Nikhil began a career in finance as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies after completing an MS in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
