Usama Zulfiqar

Usama Zulfiqar has a diverse work experience starting in 2018. Usama served as the Marketing and Sponsorship Head at Team Hammerhead GIKI from July 2018 to May 2019. From April 2019 to July 2020, they were the President of IMechE GIKI Student Chapter, where they managed the finances and operations of the society. Usama then became the Vice President of the Young Members Panel at Institution of Mechanical Engineers from June 2019 to August 2020.

In September 2020, Usama joined Trukkr as the Team Lead for Operations and Business Development. In this role, they designed and implemented strategies for business development, headed fulfillment of the inbound marketplace requests, and designed performance KPIs. Usama held this position until August 2021.

From September 2021 to August 2022, Usama worked as the Operations Manager at Trukkr, where they led and managed all key accounts and headed fulfillment and payments operations. Usama also supervised tech adoption and was responsible for the division's P&L, GMV, and scale. Usama is currently working at Trukkr as the Senior Business Manager.

Usama Zulfiqar completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from VMEdu Inc. in January 2023, the McKinsey Forward Program from McKinsey & Company in December 2022, and an Associate Membership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in April 2019. Usama also holds certifications in Digital Content Marketing & Search Engine Optimization from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in August 2017, and is an Affiliate Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since March 2017.
