Mauritius Schmidtler

Mauritius Schmidtler is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning and data science. Mauritius currently holds the position of Director of Data Science/Machine Learning at Trulioo since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Machine Learning at OpenText/Webroot where they led a team in developing and prototyping machine learning technologies for threat detection. Mauritius also worked as the Chief Scientist at Kofax, where they led a research team and implemented new machine learning technologies. Before that, Mauritius held various research positions in organizations such as Mohomine, CALTECH, Technische Universität Dresden, and the University of Karlsruhe, where they conducted research and supervised students in the fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and particle physics.

Mauritius Schmidtler completed a Master's degree in Physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1984 to 1990. Mauritius then pursued a PhD in Physics at the same institution from 1990 to 1995.
