Tom B.

Tom B. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tom currently serves as the Director of Product Marketing at Trulioo, starting in May 2021. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Principal Consultant at Live Wire Marketing Communications from April 2017 to July 2022, where they developed and executed a successful B2B marketing strategy resulting in significant revenue growth.

From May 2018 to August 2020, Tom held the position of Director of Marketing at Portable Electric, a clean technology company, where they successfully introduced a new product, developed global marketing strategies, and achieved substantial sales growth. Tom also served as the Marketing Team Lead during this time.

Before that, Tom worked as a Marketing Communications Consultant at GHG Accounting Services from September 2017 to September 2018. Tom also served as the Head of Marketing Communications at BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA) from October 2016 to March 2017 and as a Communications Manager from April 2015 to October 2016.

Tom has previous experience as a Social Media and Communications Specialist at Stanley Park Ecology Society from October 2015 to April 2016. Tom also worked as a Social Media Campaign Coordinator at Paws for Hope Animal Foundation from November 2014 to October 2015, and as a Content Marketer at Provence Marinaside Restaurant from August 2014 to July 2015.

Additionally, Tom has experience as a Lighting Electrician in multiple production companies from 2010 to 2013. Overall, Tom has shown strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive successful marketing and sales initiatives in various organizations and industries.

Tom B. attended Truro and Penwith College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate degree. Tom then went on to study at the University of Kent from 2009 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Anthropology. In 2015, Tom enrolled in the British Columbia Institute of Technology and completed courses in InDesign and Photoshop.
