Julian Köster

Julian Knoll, PhD, serves as the Head of Data Experience at BNP Paribas Personal Investors since October 2018, focusing on AI, Data Science, and Market Research. Previously, Julian held the role of Lead Data Scientist, emphasizing Business Analytics and Information. Julian has academic experience as a University Lecturer at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, teaching e-Business, Big Data, and Data Science from October 2018 to March 2020. Between October 2014 and September 2018, Julian contributed to the Nuremberg Institute of Technology as a Post-Doc Researcher and Research Scientist in the Computer Science Department. Earlier roles include Project Manager and Internal Auditor at Schaeffler from October 2007 to September 2014. Julian holds a PhD in Statistics and Econometrics with a focus on Machine Learning from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, alongside a Master's degree in Business Administration from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg and a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim.
