Craig Kafura possesses extensive experience in public opinion and foreign policy, currently serving as the Director at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs since January 2011, where previous roles included Assistant Director and Research Associate. Kafura also holds the position of Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project and is recognized as a Young Leader at the Pacific Forum, both positions held since 2018 and 2016, respectively. Earlier career experience includes a Research Assistant role at Yale University's Department of Political Science.
