Kartik Iyer

Kartik Iyer is an accomplished leader in the manufacturing technology sector with extensive experience in smart factory solutions and software development. Since December 2019, Kartik has served as the Director of TRUMPF Smart Factory in Chicago, focusing on the growth of Industry 4.0-based automated solutions for North America. Prior to this role, Kartik was the Head of the Software Division at TRUMPF North America, managing a team of 40 professionals and driving innovation and market growth in software products. Kartik also founded and served as President & CEO of Metamation Sheet Metal CAD CAM Software, establishing it as a leader in the industry. Additionally, Kartik held the position of Director at Proteck Machinery Pvt Ltd. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Madras.
