Mithun Dsouza has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Mithun started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002, where they worked until 2008.

In 2008, Mithun joined Intel Corporation as a Process Engineer, where they developed manufacturing processes for the world's first commercial fin-FET process and received 4 Divisional Awards for their efforts. Mithun then transitioned to the role of Fab Transfer Lead Engineer from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, Mithun continued their journey at Intel Corporation as a New Technology Yield Engineer and later became a Senior Process and Yield Engineer until 2016.

In 2016, Mithun joined TRUMPF North America, where they held various roles. Mithun started as a Product Development Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Later, they became a Technical Product Manager responsible for product roadmap, project management, and customer relationship management from 2018 to 2020.

Currently, Mithun is working at TRUMPF Photonics as the Head of Product Management, overseeing the laser diode and diode assembly products. Mithun is responsible for the product roadmap, P&L, customer satisfaction, and market application roadmap. Additionally, they hold the positions of Head of Sales and Head of Demand Management since October 2020.

Mithun Dsouza completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 1998 to 2002. Mithun then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2002 to 2005. Building upon their previous education, Mithun went on to earn a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2005 and 2008.
