Andreas Wohlfeld

Andreas Wohlfeld, Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.), has extensive experience in systems architecture and smart factory solutions, currently serving as Agile Manager Connectivity/UX and Group Lead for Systems Architecture at TRUMPF since January 2010. Previous roles at TRUMPF included Lead Architect for Smart Factory / Production Solutions and other architect positions focusing on system and software architecture in production environments. Prior to TRUMPF, Andreas Wohlfeld worked at the University of Stuttgart from October 2003 to December 2009, leading groups in control functions, simulation methods, and planning systems, while also serving as a scientific associate. Andreas Wohlfeld holds a Dr.-Ing. in Control Engineering and Medical Engineering and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technical Cybernetics from the University of Stuttgart, along with experience in computational neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
