Dr. Kerim Galal

Dr. Kerim Galal currently serves as the EVP of Corporate Development at TRUMPF, with responsibilities encompassing Strategy, AI, M&A, and Inhouse-Consulting since April 2023. Simultaneously, Dr. Galal functions as the Managing Director of GALAL GmbH, specializing in Tech Investments and Advisory since October 2022, and holds a position on the Board of Advisors at Cremanski & Company. Previously, Dr. Galal founded and served as CEO of DEKRA DIGITAL from January 2018 to January 2023 and held multiple leadership roles at DEKRA from July 2009 to December 2022, including Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Innovation, where major projects included the development of corporate and regional strategies and innovation management systems. Earlier career experience includes project management at McKinsey & Company. Dr. Galal's academic credentials include a PhD in Strategy, Leadership & Organisation from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht and a Master of Science in Information Systems International Management from the University of Münster.
